A political source addressed the state of negotiations for the release of hostages and a ceasefire in Gaza, saying: "We are in dialogue with the Americans. The understanding is forming that Hamas is not interested in a deal, and therefore the Prime Minister is pushing for the release of hostages while achieving a military victory, combined with bringing humanitarian aid to areas outside the combat zones and as much as possible to areas outside Hamas control."
