The U.S. military reported that it destroyed 15 ISIS sites containing weapons caches in the Rif Dimashq province of southern Syria. The U.S. Central Command said that during the operation, conducted alongside Syrian forces, more than 130 mortars and rockets, assault rifles, machine guns, anti-tank mines, and materials for building improvised explosive devices were bombed over three days last week.
