Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez said during a parliamentary debate in Madrid that intelligence services ruled out any political involvement – from Morocco, Russia or Israel – in social media posts that allegedly promoted false information related to the mass entry of migrants into the enclave of Ceuta last month. He also claimed that at the height of the assault on July 30, Moroccan police allowed the infiltration for a period of 10 hours. At the same time, he stressed that there is 'no solid evidence' that Morocco initiated the mass assault. His remarks come just three days after Sánchez accused Russia and Israel of spreading the false information.
