|
After the first day of talks between the U.S. and Iran in Pakistan concluded, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei called on Washington via X to avoid "excessive and illegal demands." According to him, "The success of this diplomatic process depends on the seriousness and goodwill of the other side, avoiding any excessive and illegal demands, and accepting Iran's legitimate rights and interests." He added that the talks in Islamabad over the past 24 hours focused on key issues in the negotiations, including the Strait of Hormuz, the nuclear issue, war reparations, lifting of sanctions and a complete end to the war against Iran and the region.
