Iranian official to Trump: We'll continue until we get compensation

|
Iranian official Mohsen Rezaei, who was recently reported to have been appointed military adviser to new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, responded to Trump's threat to strike Iran's electricity infrastructure — a threat from which the president has backed away for now — and said: "This time it won't be an eye for an eye, but a head for an eye and you will leave the Gulf. The war will continue until we receive compensation for all our losses, all economic sanctions are removed, and we receive international legal guarantees that Washington will not interfere in our affairs." Against the backdrop of contacts that, according to Trump, have already begun between Washington and Tehran, the same Iranian official boasted and claimed: "Soon there will be a deep rift between the United States and Israel."
