Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi met this afternoon in Russia with President Vladimir Putin. Putin said he 'received a message' from Iran's new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei and wished the Supreme Leader 'all the best.' Putin was quoted by the RIA news agency: 'Russia will do everything for the interest of the countries in the region to bring peace as soon as possible.' He added that Moscow will continue to maintain a 'strategic' relationship with Iran.
