Ben-Gvir accuses: Netanyahu's negotiations with Hamas led to attempted kidnapping of fallen soldier

|
Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir attacked Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, claiming that negotiations for "reckless deals" led to the death of Reserve Staff Sergeant Avraham Azoulay - who was killed in Khan Younis after fighting with terrorists who tried to kidnap him. Ben-Gvir wrote that "as negotiations for reckless deals intensify, so does the motivation of Hamas terrorists to carry out more kidnappings - and last night this cost us the life of an IDF soldier who was killed during an attempted kidnapping." He also called on the Prime Minister to stop negotiations with Hamas.
