New York Mayor Eric Adams announced that he does not intend to drop out of the mayoral race, amid reports that President Donald Trump's administration approached him with an offer for a position in the government in exchange for withdrawing his candidacy. In a press conference, Adams said: "I am in the race, and I am the only one who can beat Mmadani (Democratic candidate Zoharan Mmadani)."
