Russia: Another 6.9 magnitude earthquake hits Kamchatka Peninsula

A 6.9 magnitude earthquake at a depth of 10 kilometers hit Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, the capital of the Kamchatka Peninsula in eastern Russia, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Earlier, there were reports of an 8.7 magnitude earthquake that struck the peninsula.
