An indictment has been filed against Omri Haim Finkelstein, a 35-year-old Tiberias resident, for sexual offenses and attempted kidnapping of a 9-year-old girl who was walking on the street with her 6-year-old sister. About two months ago, Israel Police received a report about a girl who was sexually assaulted and faced an attempted kidnapping while walking home with her younger sister in Tiberias. The two managed to escape from the suspect and flee home. The Northern District Attorney's Office has also filed a request for the defendant's detention until the end of proceedings at the Nazareth District Court.
