Deputy Supreme Court President Noam Solberg presented government representative Michael Rabello with a proposal to avoid a court ruling. He suggested instead that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara sign a document of principles for limitations on the minister's intervention in police work. There were previously understandings around such a compromise framework, but ultimately it was not signed.
