Police found a monkey tied with a leash in a bathroom of a house in Tuba-Zangariyye, Galilee, where it was being kept in harsh conditions illegally. The monkey was transferred to the Nature and Parks Authority for further examination and treatment. The Authority noted that this is the 39th green vervet monkey seized in the country since the beginning of March.
