Health Ministry: 18-month-old infant dies in northern Israel after contracting measles

The Health Ministry reported that an 18-month-old infant who was not vaccinated against measles died after arriving at the Poriya Medical Center in northern Israel in critical condition. The ministry further reported that this is the tenth death from measles since the outbreak began and published a list of areas defined as outbreak zones: Jerusalem, Beit Shemesh, Bnei Brak, Harish, Modiin Illit, Nof HaGalil, Kiryat Gat, Ashdod, Safed, Netivot, Haifa, Tiberias, the Mateh Binyamin Regional Council and the settlement of Tekoa.
