The governor of East Azerbaijan province in western Iran announced that 30 soldiers and Red Crescent forces were killed in Israeli attacks on the province. According to him, 55 others were wounded. One of the significant attacks in the province occurred during the opening strike night, when the IDF destroyed the airport in the city of Tabriz.
