Begin Road (Highway 50) northbound in Jerusalem has been blocked to traffic near the Hebrew University following a hostage protest where demonstrators sat on the road and prevented vehicles from passing. The protesters are calling for the return of the hostages and an end to the war. Earlier, a demonstration was held in the Givat Ram area.
