Brother of hostage Nimrod Cohen: 'Hamas refuses partial deal because it fears government will violate it'

|
Thousands of protesters marched to a demonstration in front of the US Embassy on Hayarkon Street in Tel Aviv, where Yotam Cohen, whose brother Nimrod Cohen was kidnapped from the tank in which he fought on October 7, spoke. "We are calling for one agreement, one phase and one end to this nightmare. We cried out and got the answer - 'wait.' Israelis are done waiting. The government has failed in managing negotiations with its policy of partial deals. Hamas does not agree to a partial deal because it fears the Israeli government will violate it, as some government ministers openly say. The current crisis requires moving to a structure of one comprehensive agreement and ending the war with the last hostage."
