Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the 'interview' videos with his adviser Topaz Lok during cross-examination at his trial. Sharon Kleinman, defense attorney for Yedioth Ahronoth publisher Noni Mozes, asked: "How much do you remember conversations with reporters before the 'boycott' period?" In response, Netanyahu called the media outlets "Pravda" (a newspaper that served as the mouthpiece of the Communist Party in the Soviet Union) and said: "If I depend on an editor, whether in television or print media, they usually cut you to pieces - I have a different method, do a daily broadcast. I do my own daily broadcast, without talking to reporters."
