The Palestinian news agency "Maan" reported that the framework of "the emerging comprehensive agreement" includes the cessation of war, IDF withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, entry of Arab forces under American supervision and appointment of a Palestinian governor who will manage civilian affairs and maintain security, in addition to overseeing the Gaza reconstruction process. According to the report, it is estimated that U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to announce soon the opening of talks for a comprehensive ceasefire. The agency spoke with Samir Khalila, who was mentioned as a candidate for governor of Gaza, and he said that Hamas agreed to the proposal.
