The body of another hostage was returned to Israel as part of an operational activity by the IDF and Shin Bet in the Gaza Strip. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated: "Together with all citizens of Israel, my wife and I express our deepest condolences to the families who have lost their most precious ones. We will not rest or be quiet until we bring all our hostages home - both the living and the deceased." The Nir Oz spokesperson added that the family of the additional deceased hostage requests not to publish information about his recovery or his name. Currently, 53 hostages remain in Hamas captivity.
