Ziv Agmon, acting chief of staff to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who also serves as his spokesman, is expected to leave his position soon, according to sources involved in the matter. Recently, Agmon's name has been mentioned as a candidate for the position of Israel's ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, replacing Yossi Shelly, who is himself being considered for other senior positions. As far as is known, Agmon declined an offer to serve as ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, and other positions are also being considered.
