Italy: We asked Trump for adjustments to Peace Council terms so we could join

|
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said she asked U.S. President Donald Trump to modify the terms of the Peace Council, in order to resolve constitutional issues that would prevent Italy from joining. According to Italian law, the country can only join international organizations under equal conditions for all countries, a condition that Meloni claims is not met due to the "broad executive powers" allegedly granted to Trump.
