The Health Ministry ordered the cessation of operations at the private Medica Tel Aviv hospital following serious findings that emerged during a surprise inspection. The ministry stated that "continued operations at the facility pose a serious and immediate danger to patients." The inspection conducted at the hospital located at 28 HaBarzel Street in Ramat Ha'Hayal revealed a series of serious findings concerning operating room procedures and patient safety. Among other things, cases were found in which medical procedures were performed in violation of professional authority and binding directives, alongside additional deficiencies in medical conduct and work processes. The totality of the findings points to a systemic failure in the hospital's operations and a serious and immediate danger to patients' health and safety.
