11 Knesset committee meetings were canceled this morning following the withdrawal of Agudat Yisrael and Degel HaTorah from the coalition last night. Meetings were canceled in committees chaired by MKs from the United Torah Judaism party, but not exclusively. These include meetings in the Interior and Environment Committee chaired by MK Yaakov Asher; the Labor and Welfare Committee headed by MK Israel Eichler; the Public Petitions Committee chaired by MK Yitzhak Pindrus; and also the Education Committee managed by MK Yosef Tayeb from Shas. The Constitution Committee headed by MK Simcha Rothman and the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee chaired by MK Yuli Edelstein are conducting their meetings as planned.
