A Bedouin man in his 20s was shot and seriously wounded after attempting to flee from police and run over one of the officers, according to police. "A police officer from the Rishon LeZion station who was on operational duty tonight managed to thwart an attempted vehicular attack by a suspect from the Bedouin diaspora after sensing a real threat to his life, and therefore fired to stop the threat," police stated. "The vehicle will be examined by bomb disposal experts and forensic teams. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation."
