US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin told the Senate Armed Services Committee that the American military is "ready to execute" any decision President Joe Biden makes regarding war and peace. Austin added that the Pentagon provided Biden with options before he makes an additional decision regarding the war between Israel and Iran, but noted that he would not say whether the US military plans to assist Jerusalem in strikes against the Islamic Republic.
