The Jerusalem District Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment against Pinchas Shem Tov Ran, a reserve regional security coordinator in the Gedonim Ridge area of Samaria, who entered the Palestinian village of Aqraba (outside his area of responsibility), conducted unauthorized ID checks and opened fire at a vehicle carrying a couple after the driver did not respond to his calls to stop. Two bullets hit the woman sitting in the vehicle and severely wounded her. The reserve coordinator is charged with aggravated intentional assault and obstruction of justice.
