Tnufa Administration for the North: Government approves five-year plan, Katzrin to become a city

The government approved overnight a five-year plan to develop the Golan Heights with a budget of approximately one billion shekels, under which Katzrin will become the first city in the Golan Heights. This according to an announcement by the Tnufa Administration for the North. The announcement stated that the plan sets a goal to absorb 3,000 new families in the Golan by 2030, of which 1,500 families are planned to be absorbed in Katzrin.
