Eisenkot: 'I don't recall Netanyahu ever correcting my present perfect – that's racist'

|
Gadi Eisenkot, chairman of the Yesh Atid party, addressed a video posted by Prime Minister's adviser Yonatan Urich that mocked his command of the English language, saying in an interview with "120 Plus One," Ynet's political podcast, that "it's racist. I've been in dozens of meetings in English with Netanyahu. I don't recall him ever correcting my present perfect even once." Regarding Urich, he said, "I despise that criminal who harmed national security. He should have hidden in some bunker. He's a despicable person. And I ask myself, where was Netanyahu's excellent English on October 7? Did it help us in any way?" The full interview will be published tomorrow.
