National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir commented on the dispute between the military and political echelon in a post on X, writing: "The debate around establishing the humanitarian city is mainly a spin aimed at hiding the deal that's brewing. This city will certainly not be established as part of the surrender deal being formed with Hamas, where the IDF will withdraw from terror territories captured with our fighters' blood, hundreds of murderous terrorists will be released and Hamas will receive oxygen and additional time to rebuild its capabilities. Spins are not a substitute for complete victory."
