Ra'am Chairman Mansour Abbas addressed for the first time reports that Shin Bet Chief David Zini requested to investigate him, saying, "The attempt to tarnish the Arab public is unacceptable. I and all members of Ra'am are not afraid of any investigation and are ready to appear before all law enforcement authorities, in accordance with the Attorney General's guidelines and the justice system, which have proven time and again that they are subject to the law and not to other political elements. I demand that the state authorities respect the voter's decision and act with statesmanship and responsibility toward all citizens and uphold the law and the systems of governance."
