Will Netanyahu disrupt the elections under alleged security pretexts? Yair Golan: 'Certainly'

|
Democrats party leader Yair Golan was asked at Ynet and Yedioth Ahronoth's 'The People of the State' conference whether Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is capable of disrupting the elections allegedly for security reasons and answered: "Certainly. I think we need to be careful. Netanyahu has done everything so far to prolong the war indefinitely. He is capable of setting war objectives that have no connection to real security reality, all in order to serve his political needs." When asked whether the discourse on a strike in Iran is related in his view to the elections, he replied, "It's not impossible."
