Netanyahu to Lebanese government: 'If you continue your goal to neutralize Hezbollah, peace will come quickly'

|
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called on the Lebanese government in his UN speech to start negotiations with Israel: "I commend their goal to disarm Hezbollah. We need more than words, if Lebanon takes real steps to neutralize Hezbollah, I am confident we can achieve peace." According to him, "I am confident that if the Lebanese government continues with this goal - peace will come quickly. Victory over Hezbollah will enable peace with two states in the north. Our victory over Hamas will bring peace with the Arab world and expansion of the Abraham Accords. I believe that in the coming years the Middle East will look different. Many of those who declared war on Israel will disappear, and brave peacemakers will take their place."
