The cross-examination of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu began in his trial, with his attorney Amit Hadad requesting to end the session at 13:45 due to "an important diplomatic call at 14:30." Hadad did not explain the nature of the call and noted that he "is not in contact with the Prime Minister" due to trial restrictions, as during cross-examination, the defense attorney and defendant are prohibited from communicating. Judge Rivka Friedman-Feldman asked if they could take a break instead of ending early, to which Hadad responded that this was not possible.
