Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich responded to a report in the British Times newspaper, which stated that London would impose sanctions on him and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir. He stated: "While sitting here, I heard that Britain decided to impose sanctions on me because I am preventing the establishment of a Palestinian state. There couldn't be better timing. The natural response will also be practical, but the verbal response is contempt for the White Paper."
