Hundreds of bereaved families and members of the 'October Council' sent a letter to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and government officials, calling for the establishment of a state commission of inquiry. They argued that the military investigations are 'merely the tip of the iceberg' and 'do not provide a complete picture or answers to critical questions.' The families wrote that they 'categorically reject the investigations' and that their demand 'stems from a commitment to national security.' Among the signatories are families who participated in the presentation of investigations regarding Nova, Sderot, Ofakim and communities surrounding the Gaza Strip.
