Lithuanian leader considers toughening measures against coalition: 'We remained in government because of Iran'

|
Lithuanian leader Rabbi Moshe Hillel Hirsch is considering intensifying measures of the Degel HaTorah party coalition – which he oversees – and instructing Knesset members to vote with the opposition against coalition proposals. Moreover, he is considering directing members of Knesset to vote in favor of opposition laws – not just abstaining from voting with the coalition, as they have done since the beginning of the summer session. Rabbi Hirsch told his associates that he is considering escalating the struggle and instructing MKs to vote fully with the opposition. He explained in conversations: "We remained in the government because of the war with Iran, now there is no reason to drag this out without a draft law."
