Jerusalem District police officers and Border Police fighters continue to operate in the Bar Ilan area of Jerusalem, following disturbances by ultra-Orthodox protesters - six hours after the demonstrations began. During the riots, lawbreakers caused damage to infrastructure, traffic signs and traffic lights, set fire to trash cans and threw stones and objects at the forces, while repeatedly attempting to block major traffic routes and disrupt daily life. As a result of the throwing of objects and stones, police officers and security guards operating at the scene were lightly injured. A vehicle belonging to a female police officer was attacked, and she was safely evacuated by forces operating in the field. One person was arrested.
