President Isaac Herzog landed in Ethiopia's capital Addis Ababa and began his state visit to the country. Upon landing, the president was received by Ethiopia's Foreign Minister Dr. Gedion Timothewos and Israel's Ambassador to Ethiopia Dr. Avraham Neguise in a state reception ceremony held at the airport. Later in the day, the president is expected to meet with Ethiopia's President Taye Atske-Selassie, Prime Minister and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Dr. Abiy Ahmed Ali and with the leadership of the local Jewish community.
