The U.S. is planning to send the aircraft carrier USS George Washington to the Middle East to replace the USS Abraham Lincoln in a pre-arranged plan, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing American officials involved in the details. This comes after members of Congress raised concerns about the extended time the aircraft carrier crew has been deployed in the Middle East without relief, which stands at more than 250 days.
