Hadas Blumenthal-Kerem, chairperson of Jerusalem Open House for Pride and Tolerance, addressed the violent attack against gay individuals in Ma'ale Adumim, stating, 'We strongly condemn the escalating wave of violence against the LGBTQ community. These are not isolated incidents, but a dangerous phenomenon that is intensifying in Jerusalem and across Israel.' She added, 'LGBTQ visibility in public spaces and personal security are fundamental rights and an essential line of defense for members of the LGBTQ community. We will not surrender to terror and fear - we will continue to fight for our right to be an equal and visible part of the public sphere.'
