Two days after the murder, three suspects in their involvement were arrested, residents of Jisr az-Zarqa and Reina aged 20 and 32. In the suspects' possession, police seized duplicate license plates, five vehicles, two handguns and a Kalashnikov rifle that allegedly was used in the fatal shooting of Gharib, who was not involved in criminal activity.
