Fire and Rescue Services reported that the fire in the underground parking lot at the construction site of the future BIG shopping complex in Petah Tikva is still not under control. It was stated that "firefighters are working to extinguish the fire sources and evacuate the heavy smoke that has spread. The public is asked to avoid coming to the area." Due to the heavy smoke, Moshe Dayan Street and one lane on Jabotinsky Street have been closed to traffic. The municipality stated that residents living nearby are advised at this stage to close windows and avoid staying near the source of the smoke as much as possible.
