Israeli Fawn Rescued from Ramallah Area After Being Held Illegally, Suspect Arrested

In an operation coordinated with security forces, Israel Nature and Parks Authority inspectors located an Israeli gazelle fawn that was being held illegally in the village of A-Ram in the Ramallah area. "The fawn was transferred to Nature and Parks Authority inspectors and from there for further treatment at the Ramat Gan Safari wildlife hospital," it was reported. A 48-year-old resident of Kfar Aqab was detained for questioning on suspicion of committing offenses of trafficking, illegal possession and poaching of protected wildlife.
