Trump's Syria envoy: 'Interested in peace between Damascus and Jerusalem, situation solvable'

U.S. President Trump's envoy to Syria Thomas Berk said that President Donald Trump will declare Syria "not a state sponsor of terrorism." He added that Trump's desire is to give the new government an opportunity by not interfering in its affairs, noting that America's role is to create a mutual dialogue with Syria. According to him, his country is interested in peace between Syria and Israel and they believe the situation between the countries is solvable. Berk indicated that they should first begin with a "non-aggression" agreement between the parties and discuss borders and rules.
