Released for publication: Staff Sergeant (res.) Avraham Azoulay is the reservist killed in Khan Younis

The IDF has cleared for publication that Staff Sergeant (res.) Avraham Azoulay, 25, from the settlement of Yitzhar, was the bulldozer operator killed yesterday in a combined Hamas attack in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. The militants first fired an RPG at the forces and then emerged from a tunnel attempting to kidnap the combat engineer, who was participating in an operation to destroy terrorist infrastructure with the 12th Battalion of the Golani Brigade. An IDF spokesperson reported that in another incident yesterday, a tank soldier from the 77th Battalion of the "Sa'ar from Golan" Brigade (7) was seriously wounded in combat in northern Gaza.
