Suspect who spat on female officer on bus admits: 'I was angry when she changed seats'

|
Ahmad Muhammad (24) from Hawara, who was recorded spitting on reserve Captain Tamar Glidwani (29) on a bus in Ramat Gan earlier this week, has admitted to the act. He claimed he 'was angry and upset when the officer got up and changed seats.' The Palestinian suspect turned himself in to police this week but initially denied any connection to the incident. Following his denial, police took a DNA sample from him. He will be brought today again for a detention extension hearing at the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court on suspicion of assault, assaulting a public servant and illegal residence in Israel.
