Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced, after criticism was directed at him, that his spokesman Ziv Agmon "will conclude his role in the coming days with the entry of his replacement, Ido Norden, who is currently in the process of being integrated into the Prime Minister's Office." Norden, who served as chief of staff to the Chief Scientist and head of the Innovation Authority, is a senior advisor in the Prime Minister's Office and an economist at the Bank of Israel. In the past, he authored a book about the "deep state" in Israel and was also one of the prominent voices against former Chief Military Advocate General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi.
