Herzog: 'Israel does not stand idle when Druze community members are in danger'

|
President Isaac Herzog addressed the escalation in Syria, saying that "Israel does not stand idle when there is even potential for a jihadist threat across the border." During the state ceremony marking 121 years since the death of Theodor Herzl, Herzog said that "Israel also does not stand idle when our allies and family members of Israelis – members of the Druze community who are flesh of our flesh – are under attack and face the threat of terrible massacre."
