The indictment against Natalia Ksilbski (37), director of the 'Luchik' daycare in Ariel, and two caretakers Drina Halufa (37) and Anna Pagelski (40), who are accused of abusing and assaulting 17 infants and toddlers, describes ongoing and horrifying abuse that included a 'punishment method of strangulation and restraint.' According to the indictment, they would punish toddlers who cried and had difficulty falling asleep by wrapping their heads while forcibly blocking the toddlers' airways with their hands or by using paper or cloth. In some cases, they shook the toddlers' heads until they became disoriented, lost balance and their heads dropped. It was also described that as punishment, they would lock the toddlers in a closed and dark room without supervision, while ignoring their cries.
