Anat, the mother of kidnapped soldier Matan Engerst, emphasized the urgency of returning her son and the rest of the hostages. During a Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee discussion, she said: "I am here to voice the cry of those who remain there, including the kidnapped soldiers. Do you know why Matan is still there? He is classified as severely wounded. He is still there because he was kidnapped in IDF uniform." She added that "Matan is undergoing harsh interrogations. We received testimonies that they connect him to electrical devices - and he survives them every day."
